Hello everyone! This is it. This is the last post, so considering the occasion, I'd like to talk about something a little more serious than usual. I am interested in talking about a current problem, and that is the impact that social media have had on people's mental health. Of course, this problem can be approached from many points of view but I would like to focus the conversation a little bit. Imagine this situation: we have the possibility to talk at any time with anyone through WhatsApp, Facebook, etc. How convenient, right? But what happens when this immediacy becomes the norm in interpersonal relationships? Let's put it another way. Have any of you ever felt pressured to respond to a message promptly? Or have any of you ever felt angry or bad when you don't get a prompt response? I'm pretty sure that the vast majority, if not all, of you reading this post have been in one of these two situations.
