Post Graduate Studies

Hi everyone! As you can see, in this post I'm going to talk about what I would like to do next in terms of continuing my studies in Psychology.

Well, I have to be honest. I have not thought much about it since I haven't decided yet what to specialize in as a psychologist. However, I'm certainly sure that I want to do a postgraduate degree. That has always been my goal as the professional I want to be. That being said, I'd still like to talk about some aspects of Psychology in which I am interested and in which I'll probably specialize in the future.

First of all, I started studying psychology with the idea of becoming a clinical psychologist as I would like to help university students deal with their mental health problems during their time at university. As a former law student, I saw firsthand how mental health problems can worsen if left untreated so I'd like to delve deeper into those characteristic aspects of the university environment that can undermine the students' mental well-being.

On the other hand, I'm also interested in social psychology because I like the idea of working with communities. Especially in how these communities deal with conflict, violence and, above all, the notions they have of their social representations.

I still have time to decide, but I'm not going to lie, I would still like to specialize in both. Who knows but one thing I do know is that I would like to do at least a postgraduate degree in England. Probably Cambridge, I don't know yet haha.
